Hood Canal Group

The Hood Canal group serves Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. The group is currently working on the following issues: 

• Pit to Pier mine - a 690 acre mining complex that includes a 16 story dock into Hood Canal
• NASCAR track headed for Bremerton
• Kitsap County Critical Areas Ordinance (wetland, stream, shoreline and wildlife habitat)
• Puget Sound Water Quality

• Rayonier toxic clean-up (Pt. Angeles)
