We're always looking for new outings leaders. Self confidence, moderate experience in the outdoors, and a desire to share the gift of the natural world with others. Requirements: Becoming an outings leader requires completing Sierra Club sponsored training, completing basic first aid, attending mentored outings, and a commitment to lead your own outings. Time commitment is flexible; it can be as little as a few hours a month, to many more hours depending on the length and frequency of your outings. Benefits: Become part of one of the most influential environmental organizations in the nation, build leadership skills, get experience in outdoor education, public speaking, and guiding, and most importantly reconnect yourself and others with the great outdoors. Interested? Contact Kyle Murphy at Kyle.Murphy@Sierraclub.org or (206) 378-0114 x326.
