Norm Dicks: U.S. Representative, District C6

As the ranking Democratic member of the House Interior Appropriations Subcommittee, Rep. Dicks is able to secure federal resources to address environmental problems in Washington state. In the last session of Congress, he introduced an amendment to double the annual appropriations for new land acquisition and for maintaining the national parks and public lands that are stressed by our growing population. He has also garnered over $100 million for the Washington State Salmon Recovery Fund, which seeks to restore habitat for our endangered fish populations.
