Barry Buchanan: City Council #3, Bellingham

Barry Buchanan is well connected politically in Bellingham, as president of the Whatcom Democrats. He is extremely well informed on Lake Whatcom water quality problems, and has a good understanding of the connections between the technical, regulatory and funding options that will have to be addressed in implementing and measures that will improve water quality in the Lake. We anticipate that his long commitment and understanding of the Bellingham's complex environmental and growth issues will serve to make him an effective member of the City Council.
