Catherine Stanford: City Council, Lake Forest Park
Catherine Stanford is running for Lake Forest Park City Council because she sees Lake Forest Park as a unique and special place. She is passionate about keeping a town center, city planning and community development and has therefore worked many years as a volunteer for the city.
Ms. Stanford knows the value of great places in shaping great communities. She served on the city’s Planning Commission for 10 years (four of them as Chair) and she served as the liaison from the Planning Commission to the Economic Development Commission.
Additionally, she is a Board member of Friends of Third Place Commons and is Chair of the Lake Forest Park Farmer’s Market Advisory Committee. Ms. Stanford hopes to continue her good work strengthening the city’s community on the city council.
