WASHOUGAL DIKE HIKE

Saturday, January 5th, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

In keeping with my plan to have close-in hikes to save gas and low elevation during winter to avoid snow, this will be a brisk winter day low-elevation hike. Meet at William Clark Park at Cottonwood Beach located at S 32nd St in Washougal.

We will hike 3 miles along the Columbia River on the dike alongside the trail and tall cottonwoods in a park-like setting. Views of Mt. Hood and, of course, the River. No elevation gain. Bring rain gear. water and lunch. This outing is open to the public. For more information, contact leader Roger Cole at (360) 693-9131 or rogersail@comcast.net. (LW).
