Lowland Forest Trail Maintenance at Baker Lake Trail

Saturday, April 12th, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wildflowers should be blooming in this ancient forest near Baker Lake in Skagit County. Possible views of Mt. Baker and access to lakeshore in one of the state's largest unprotected roadless areas. We work with the US Forest Service to repair trail and clear invasive vegetation and open up the trail after winter. Easy work and hike, no experience needed, hand tools supplied. Bring water and lunch and wear good working clothes, gloves and boots. Group meets in Sedro Wooley to carpool to the trail we will work on. For more information and meeting location contact Mark Lawler at 206-632-1550.
