MIDDLE FORK SNOQUALMIE Invasive Weed Pull

Saturday, May 17th, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Join the Sierra Club’s Cascade Checkerboard Project volunteers as we team with the Mountains-to-Sound Greenway to remove invasive weeds from the close-by and very popular Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Valley. Take out your aggressions, get a little dirty and help pull blackberry, Herb Robert and other invasive species from our location on the Middle Fork Road. While we’re at it, we’ll learn a little of the rich history of this special valley and efforts to protect it. Its work but we have fun and feel a real sense of accomplishment when we're finished. We’ll get an early start but will also finish early so we can join other Greenway volunteers in an afternoon picnic. Contact Leader for more information: Harry Romberg, 206-365-9302, HBRomb@aol.com
