Hike - COOPERS SPUR, MOUNT HOOD

 This is an intermediate to difficult 8.2 mile loop up to Tie-In Rock on Cooper Spur. This is one of my all-time favorite hikes in Oregon. Fantastic exposure to the Eliot Glacier, with peaks from Mt. Rainier to the Three Sisters on the horizon. A straight-forward hike with lots of switchbacks coming down. This is typically 6-7 hours on the trail plus a long drive to / from Cloud Cap Campground. This would make a good overnight car camping trip for those who don't want to get up early. This outing is open to the public. Bring water and lunch and dress for the weather.
