Hike - HERMAN CREEK-INDIAN POINT, SW WASHINGTON

 This is an intermediate to difficult 8 mile loop up Nick Eaton Ridge with a 2600 ft. elevation gain. There is a final 30' scramble up an exposed rock pinnacle, a lot like the Ruckel Ridge catwalk. Lots of flowers and a view of the tip of Mt. Hood and Bonneville Dam. 6-8 hours on the trail. A good preparation for the Mount St. Helen's hike later in August. Bring lunch & water.
