This is a moderately strenuous backpack which averages 12 miles and 2,500 ft. elevation gain per day. This is a four-day backpack to Washington's craggy Sawtooth Range. The alpine forests are filled with larch. This is the perfect time to witness fall colors of brilliant gold. All the beauty of the enchantments without the people and special permits. This is a superb area of unparalleled Cascade beauty. References and reservations required by September 4. Participants responsible for personal food, water and gear. Participation limited to twelve.
