Hike - COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE-WYETH / NORTH LAKE, HATFIELD WILDERNESS
This is a 14.7 mile, 4,600' elevation gain, 4,730 peak altitude moderately-paced naturalist-led hike. This hike has the full range of what the Gorge has to offer. Climb from the Columbia River to the seldom-visited eastern edge of the Hatfield Wilderness. There are great views on the switchbacks out of the Gorge, and again from the top of Green Point Mountain. Forests include old-growth 6' diameter Douglas and noble firs, subalpine firs, Alaska cedars--eleven species of conifers. Brewpub to follow. Preregistration required.
