A short 2 mile hike to a beautiful mountain lake on USFS land E of Verlot on the Mountain Loop Highway. A good trail, 1,100’ elevation gain in 2 miles. Hiking boots required. Bring lunch and water.
Meet at the HS in Granite Falls, where Highway 92 ends at the start of the Mountain Loop Highway, at 10:30 am. Or carpool from Seattle or Lake City. Returning by 5pm.
