Keven Rojecki: City Council #6, Tacoma

Keven Rojecki is a firefighter who has distinguished himself as a lobbyist for firefighter issues in the State Legislature. His biggest environmental interest and influence as a lobbyist concerns toxics. He worked hard against the bromine lobby to help get the PBDE (flame retardant) banned in Washington State a couple of years ago. His experience doing work on legislation work in Olympia would be a significant asset benefiting Tacoma. He is supportive of sustainability principles, more public transportation choices, greenhouse gas reduction, and environmental protection. He demonstrates a real willingness to listen and is not afraid to ask for advice on issues. He has broad support and funds to run a winning campaign.
