Jon Snyder: City Council #2, Spokane

Jon is the founder and editor of "Out There Monthly," an outdoor, pro-environment outdoor sports magazine. Jon co-founded the local, socially responsible radio station, KYRS Thin Air Radio. He also founded the "Go Green Directory," the first local guide to green and sustainable living. He is an active participant in many social justice campaigns, and expresses unwavering commitment to quality of life issues. Jon is an outspoken supporter of the Spokane Comprehensive Plan, in contrast to a particularly influential city council member who works hard to thwart its goals and bypass its development requirements.
