Photography Outing in Scenic Central Washington
Bring your camera and join this group photography outing to the very scenic Cowiche Canyon Conservancy near Yakima.
Sunday, June 27th.
Meet at the trail head at 10am, expect to be out most of the day. Bring lots of water, lunch, a hat, sunscreen, and boots are recommended -- this is dry and rocky terrain and may have snakes. More information about this canyon can be found at www.cowichecanyon.org
This is an easy hike, little elevation gain. The pace will be slow to encourage the taking of photos. Sierra Club members and non-members are invited to sign up.
The address for the trailhead is 8700 Scenic Way in Yakima 98908, meeting time 10am. No USFS trailhead pass needed.
Carpooling from Seattle is encouraged, the best meeting place will be the Eastgate Park and Ride in Bellevue. Contact the leader if you wish to carpool, or have questions, or to sign up.
