Over the last 30 years Betty Ringlee has had much local governmental experience. She served ten years on the Peninsula School District Board of Directors and starting in the mid-1990s worked eight years as an assistant to 7th District County Council Member Karen Biskey. She was in charge of meeting with the community and attending important hearings. Ringlee has served on numerous land use and transportation committees for Pierce County's Comprehensive Plan. She also staffed local shoreline protection committees. She will pay special attention to the implementation of the Key Peninsula Community Plan and the Shoreline Master Plan.
