Nathan Schlicher: State Senator, District 26
Nathan Schlicher for Senator, 26th Legislative District
This is a race we can’t afford to lose: it’s imperative that Schlicher retain his seat for any pro-environment and progressive agenda to move forward in Washington State. If Schlicher loses his seat, Republicans will control the Senate.
Though he was temporarily appointed to fill the seat vacated by Derek Kilmer in 2013, Schlicher has fast earned a reputation as a rising star in the Democratic Party and strong advocate for the environment. A strong partner of Governor Inslee’s Climate agenda, Schlicher voted to defend I-937 which requires large utilities to invest in clean energy. He’ll protect our limited water resources and is a strong advocate for job creation and funding for public transportation. An ER doctor who also practices law, Schlicher is a multifaceted person with a wide breadth of expertise. For more information: www.nathanforsenate.org
