Paula Waters: City Council #1, Woodinville
Posted on September 29, 2013 - 11:43am
Paula Waters has served on the Woodinville Planning Commission for the last four years, helping to create the Downtown Plan, which is aimed at revitalizing the downtown area with mixed-use high-density development, with greater walkability and the opportunity for increased mass transit. Paula is opposed to expanding development into rural Sammamish Valley and supports maintaining agricultural land in the area. Paula is also a Sierra Club volunteer, working on the Coal Free PSE Campaign to end Puget Sound Energy's investment in a dirty Montana coal plant that produces at least 30 percent of PSE's electricity. The campaign supports PSE's transition to renewable energy.
