Adrienne Fraley-Monillas: City Council #3, Edmonds
Adrienne is an incumbent candidate who has served on the Edmonds City Council for 4 years, and is a lifelong Puget Sound resident. She is passionate in her opposition to coal trains in Edmonds, and across the region. Adrienne also opposes a city plan to build a tunnel for ferry access which could make it even easier for the coal trains to run in Edmonds. She is forward-looking on transportation issues, in particular, transit-oriented development along the Hwy 99/Aurora corridor. She has also advocated for banning plastic bags and Styrofoam in her city, as well as supporting the transition to hybrid vehicles by city staff, installing solar power on city buildings and promoting community recycling programs.
