Ryan has been a strong and eloquent supporter of environmental conservation. She worked to protect the City’s portion of the Lake Whatcom Watershed, improved local bus service, and is guiding the conversion of a downtown area being vacated by Georgia Pacific into an amenity for public (and environmental) uses.
