Connie Marsh: City Council #3, Issaquah
Connie Marsh is tired of watching the trees disappear from the hills lining I-90, giving way to the glow of traffic signals.
Marsh is a lifelong area resident who has long been interested in preserving and protecting Issaquah’s natural assets. A proposed city bypass highway finally persuaded her to run for City Council. She believes it will damage Issaquah’s drinking water aquifer while doing little to ease local traffic congestion.
Marsh wants to encourage growth where it can be done without mowing down the forests that surround Issaquah and make it a special place to live.
