Nancy Davidson: City Council #7, Issaquah

Deputy Council President Nancy Davidson is a civil engineer who has been involved with King County water quality issues for some time. She’s taken the lead on showing the proposed city bypass highway for what it is – an environmental disaster that can’t withstand the scrutiny of an Environmental Impact Statement. The bypass would cut off the Issaquah Creek headwaters, damage salmon habitat, and pollute Issaquah’s drinking water aquifer.

Davidson doesn’t espouse a particular plan for mass transit, but she believes the Issaquah region needs one. She supports high density, mixed-use development where appropriate.
