ANNUAL APPEALS TEAM

Background: As a non-profit organization we never lack in issues to work on but often lack in adequate resources to address the issues. The Chapter mails its members two yearly appeals in March and December. These annual appeals are the core funding for the Chapter.  We are looking for a small team to oversee these mailings.

Objective:   Production of 2 yearly mailings sent out in an attractive, timely and cost-efficient manner.

Responsibilities: (to be divided among team members)

- Review and evaluate previous year’s results

- Utilize the March Window handbook for guidelines

- Coordinate with Fundraising Chair on letter content and format

- Develop a step-by-step schedule with deadlines for each phase of the process

- Work with printer and mailing house to develop this schedule.

- Do some hand-addressing and non-bulk mailing to past high donors.

- Track and record results

- Send appropriate thank-you notes/postcards to donors

Qualifications:

-        Attention to detail

-        Ability to work flexibly as a team member

-        Commitment to meeting deadlines

Time commitment:  5 hours /month in Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, April

Start Date: July/August

Position duration: 1 year +
