Skip Priest: State Representative #2, District 30
Representative Priest is a well-known and respected conservation leader in his district and the state. In the last legislative session, he pushed for banning toxic flame retardants, played a critical role in the successful passage of the Electronic Waste Recycling bill and provided a strong voice in his caucus in support of the environmental community's legislative priorities.
Closer to home in south King and Pierce counties, he is a passionate advocate for the Friends of the Hylebos, a nationally recognized local environmental group dedicated to restoring the Hylebos Creek watershed (www.hylebos.org). As a result of these and other efforts, the Washington Conservation Voters named him a House Environmental Champion.
