Christine Rolfes: State Representative #2, District 23

Christine Rolfes will be an excellent Representative for the 23rd District and Washington State. She has been a strong and outspoken advocate for environment and conservation issues since 1989. She worked for the USEPA on transboundary pollution issues affecting Puget Sound, participated in watershed planning for Kitsap County, and worked on critical area and shoreline issues while serving on the Bainbridge Island City Council.

Christine also managed Kitsap County’s Open Space Program and led open space and farmland preservation efforts on Bainbridge Island. She served on the Board of Conservation Northwest which focuses on preserving wildlands throughout the Cascades, and as a grant evaluator for the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation on panels related to critical and urban wildlife habitat.
