Priorities

The Sierra Club tagline is: "Enjoy, explore, and protect the planet." Thousands of people in Washington State every year participate in Cascade Chapter events dedicated to the "enjoy" and "explore" parts of that mission. If you'd like to join them, check our Events section for listings of upcoming outings and meetings.

The priorities of the Cascade Chapter also encompass the crucial third part of the Sierra Club mission: Protect the planet that we love to explore and enjoy. Our volunteers work hard to achieve a broad range of well-defined conservation goals, in ways ranging from hands-on habitat restoration to active lobbying for better legislation.
