Sierra Club 2008 Elections - 6 priority campaigns, 6 victories
- President — Barack Obama
- Governor — Christine Gregoire is a strong leader for the environment, leading a new, healthy, ‘green jobs’ economy
- Commissioner of Public Lands — Peter Goldmark will be protecting 5 million acres of state forests and water from unsustainable use
- NO on Tim Eyman’s Initiative 985 Another harmful product from Tim Eyman which would have made traffic worse and siphoned money from education and healthcare
- YES on Proposition 1 — Sound Transit a two year fight for the Sierra Club, to increase transit choices for the citizens of King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties that addresses global warming
